(Geology, Ecology and "Robotics" With Finn the Science Dog)
A four night adventure based at the foot of the Blue Ridge. We will be staying in an air conditioned cabin with full facilities at the Golden Valley Jelly Stone Park Camp Resort. From our home base we will hike Linville Falls, explore the the caves at Linville Caverns, gem mine, fish, kayak, swim, cook, have crafts and enjoy the Jelly Stone facilitates which includes a water park, mini golf, and laser tag. Each day we will also be spending time programming and engineering a Lego Mindstorm robot to compete in the Golden Valley Robot challenge. Don't let Finn eat the robot! This camp will be limited to 6 children and 2 adult leaders in order to minimize health risks. We will practice safe practices to reduce infectious health risks during the trip to the best of our abilities. If we are still in a mandated quarantine, participants will receive a full refund. We have 2 spaces available and have a waiting list. All that is required is a $50 deposit. The deposit will be refunded if we are still in quarantine at the time of the camp or if your child does not get a spot in the camp.

Marilyn Jesrani, owner of Super Kid Science, is a national board certified Wake County teacher at Holly Ridge Middle School, BS and MS from University of Florida, member of the National Science and Teachers Association and a certified kayak instructor guide through the American Canoe Association. She is CPR, first aid and safety trained and has a state background check.
